The name “Manzelejepun” – House of Frangipani – is a combination of a Persian (Manzel) word and a Balinese (jepun) word because of the different varieties of frangipani you will see in the garden. Frangipani flowers are always used in the preparation of the “banten” (daily religious offerings in Bali).

Manzelejepun villa with a luxurious local Balinese wooden architecture (only using renewable source teak wood) covered with a traditional thatched roof made of alang alang (bladed grass, locally grown), is located in a peaceful Balinese residential area that provides the perfect relaxation location on Bali’s south-eastern shore 2km north of Sanur.

The fully-staffed Manzelejepun Villa is perfect for families or groups of friends and has all the amenities you could ask for in a luxury villa. Staff include an onsite villa manager, housekeeping staff, gardener, cook for breakfast, and 24-hour security. There is also a professional resident chef who will cook all your meals, or shop for anything you need, should you wish to cook yourself.

Every bedroom at Manzelejepun Villa is designed to take in the beautiful views of our tropical garden and 17m long swimming pool ; Each room is named after a flower each of which are often used for religious offerings in Bali; Tunjung (Nymphaea), Pucuk (Hibiscus), Cempaka (Magnolia) and Sandat (ylang-ylang).

Each bedroom is furnished with a teak wood bed, desk, electric armchairs (in two rooms) allowing a peaceful siesta, elegant marble stone and vibrant soft furnishings and “ikat” fabrics for the local traditional touch.

We added five rooms in the Pavillon adjacent to the Villa. The Three rooms on the first floor could be rented for long term lease as it has kitchen and dining room and living room. Should you wish massage and body treatment, please enjoy on the first floor of our terrasse of the garden designed by our friend the late Made Wijaya, one of the most famous tropical garden landscape designer.
